Hotel • Restaurant • Café The Waldbaden Wasserturm is a former water tower in the village of Elsenborn, in the High Fens, transformed after a three-year renovation into a unique boutique hotel with restaurant. Owner Philippe Thomas replaced the old water tank with a spiral wooden staircase. The protected building features five stylish rooms, each with views of the surrounding nature. At the top, in the "Baumkrone," there is a panoramic restaurant open to both hotel guests and the public. Breakfast is served at your table daily from 8:00–11:00 (reservation required), a seasonal four-course dinner is offered Thursday to Saturday with arrival between 18:30 and 19:00, and coffee with homemade cake is available on weekends. With its blend of history and modern comfort, the Wasserturm has become a special attraction in East Belgium. Note: the tower has no elevator; rooms are accessed via stairs (luggage assistance available).
